Women Empowered Livingston County launched in 2016 to promote women’s health and champion women’s services at OSF HealthCare Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center. Events allow the community a chance to invest personal funds and passion to help innovate new programming and inspire new gifts and services.
The group’s first project partially funded the renovation of OSF Saint James’ women’s outpatient diagnostic/mammography suite. Current projects include bringing cardiac health screenings and risk assessments to women throughout Livingston County, along with education about women’s health.
