Job Description

The Pointe at Pontiac is seeking a full-time Assistant Dietary Manager. The Assistant Dietary Manager will assist the Dietary Manager and help oversee the operation of the department by preparation, presentation, and serving food to residents in compliance with state/federal regulations.

Duties:

  • Assures food is prepared and served within scheduled time frames
  • Assures food is served in a way that conserves nutritional value and maintains flavor and appearance
  • Places food orders from approved sources
  • Ensures food is received, stored, prepared, held, and served under sanitary conditions
  • Completed required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
  • Ensures quality assurance processed are followed in preparation of food
  • Coordinates dining room services
  • Assists with providing orientation/training and retraining staff
  • Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of dietary experience
  • Food Manager's License
